Fatma Zehra Akyazıcı Wins Bronze at 2024 European Cadets Taekwondo Championship

Max Potential athlete Fatma Zehra Akyazıcı won a bronze medal in the girls' -47kg category at the 2024 European Cadets Taekwondo Championship held in Tirana, the capital of Albania.

Turkey completed the championship with a total of 9 medals including 4 gold, claiming the team title. Akyazıcı's bronze was an important link in that team championship.

Working with the support she receives under Max Potential, Akyazıcı signaled with this first major medal in the European arena that she could become a strong candidate for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics squad.
