Zehra Begüm Kavukcuoğlu Crowned World U21 Champion!

Max Potential athlete Zehra Begüm Kavukcuoğlu became world champion by claiming gold in the +73 kg category at the World U21 Taekwondo Championship held in Nairobi, Kenya.

Just nine months after taking up the sport, Kavukcuoğlu was a Turkish national champion. Now she is world champion — and firmly on course for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. The title follows her 2024 European U21 gold medal and marks the peak of her career so far.
